New Members for 2013

Recently we welcomed officially seven new members to the church. It's been a while since we had any such ceremony to receive members. We like to thank them for their desire and commitment to identify with us as a family and to serve together for the glory of God. Please continue to pray for them and for others that the Lord may choose to add in the future.

Easter@Grace 2013

Easter or Resurrection Sunday is a very important event in the Christian calendar. It is the victory celebration of the Jesus Christ over death. Can the dead rise again? Yes! Jesus Christ did not only die like all humans will but came back to meet His disciples and proved to them that He was no ghost! We believe that He is still alive today. This year we will have our special Service on Sunday morning at 10.30 am with a special guest speaker, Mr. Jason Fong from Scripture Union.

Come join us to find out the reasons for the Christian's celebration. There is more to life than just "to eat, drink and be merry! For tomorrow we all die!" There is hope even after death!

Watch Night Gathering 2012

The year ended with a time of fellowship, food, fun, sharing and prayer. For food, we tried something different this year with our private 'lok lok" van and eating like in a street cafe, al fresco style! Considering what was on offer and our numbers, we did quite well! We are grateful and thankful to God for the year that has gone by. Yes there were moments when we did not do great and felt down. Yet there is always hope. So we give thanks, move on and look forward to what is ahead of us with some fear and trembling. Remembering always that with God all things are possible!

May the New Year bring you all the joy, peace, hope and love found in Christ alone!

Christmas Caroling 2012

This year we just had two homes to host the Carol Party. The response was really good in both homes. Thank you JJ & Sook Theng and Simon & Sarah for inviting us and making your homes a place to sing and share the message of Christmas!

Children's Christmas Party 2012

This year we organised a Children's Party for the first time. We invited some kids from a neighbouring refugee school to join us in this event. And I think everyone had fun including our own children! Thank God that we had very good weather and also a word of thanks to the hard work by our young people and those that contributed to the food and also in decorating and cleaning up the place!

Children's Christmas Party

The Advent or Christmas season is coming. One of the highlights for this year is the Christmas Party for Children to be held on 15 December 2012 (Sat), starting from 4.00 p.m. at the Church premise. This is the first time in recent history that we are organising such a party just for the children. It's going to be fun and memorable. So come and join us to celebrate the Birthday of Jesus!

  

Mid-Autumn Festival 2012

Last Saturday we celebrated for the first time the Mid-Autumn Festival at the home of Wilson and Huei Lou. We had a great time of singing (in Mandarin), story telling, sharing and fellowship after the food. Yes we also celebrated Huei Ying's birthday! And to cap the night, there was a time of playing with the lanterns and lighting of candles! The children had lots of fun and the adults had a time recalling some old childhood memories!
